I am a designer and contemporary art consultant with more than twenty years of experience in interior design, curation and creative direction. 

ORNAMENTO E DELITTO  was born out of my passion for combining contemporary art and design with the creation of jewellery pieces.

The brand name comes from the title of Adolf Loos' famous essay, written in 1908, which champions the purity of form and the power of space as defining elements. In contrast to superfluous ornamentation, the brand aligns itself with simplicity and a vision where aesthetics arise from proportion, geometry and timelessness. 

Each piece of jewellery is inspired by various trends in american minimalism, the bauhaus school and art déco style, although the latter responded to the same historical context with refined ornamentation as a symbol of modernity and sophistication. 

In this case, the jewellery is not conceived as decorative accessories. as in the art and design that inspire them, they do not seek ostentation, but rather an elegance that will stand the test of time. 

All the pieces are HANDCRAFTED IN MILAN, in small series that preserve the formal purity and artistic essence of each creation.
